Feeling crafty? Tap into your creative side with some ceramic painting at Color Me Mine. Hungry and looking for a bite to eat? Visit Eeny Meeny Sushi Roll for some mouth watering sushi or Green Mountain Beer Company Tap Room for a brew.

When you are looking for a familiar retailer, you can find all of them within minutes of your doorstep when you’re a part of our apartment community. You’ll find retailers like Hobby Lobby and Home Depot that will be a resource for your decorating needs. With a Kohl’s right there as well you can find any clothing or home goods basics. Having a Walmart and a handful of grocery stores right in your backyard, you will have easy access to all your essential kitchen shopping needs. 

Nature and Outdoor Activities Everywhere You Look

With the beauty of nature surrounding us here in Lakewood, you can’t help but get outside and enjoy some fresh air on a regular basis. Take a walk, ride a bike or play on a playground at one of the several parks (Bear Creek Park and Greenbelt, Bear Valley Park, or Pinecrest Village Park) located just minutes from your Velo apartment.

Not only is there close access to Downtown Denver (26 minute drive), but you are no more than 1 to 3 hours away from some of the best ski resorts in the United States. Whether you are making a day trip to the slopes at Winter Resort Park, or a weekend trip to the mountain to ski your heart out at Vail Ski Resort or Aspen Mountain Ski Resort, living at Velo gives you easy access to the mountain any day of the week. And some of the best mountains and resorts at that.
